About us
1998 Group "Baltos kandys" ("White Moths") was established in 1998 by six young talented textile artists: Austė Jurgelionytė, Karolina Kunčinaitė, Miglė Lebednykaitė, Laura Pavilonytė, Rasa Leonavičiūtė, Julija Vosyliūtė. The group participates and is actively involved in organization of various exhibitions, symposiums, and educational initiatives since 1998. "Baltos kandys" has been successfully showcasing their art projects in Lithuanian and other foreign markets.
2006 In the competition "LT Identity", organized by the Institute of Lithuania the group "Baltos kandys" was nominated in the category "Innovation". The patron of the competition was the President of the Republic of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus.
2005 The Ministry of Culture presented "Baltos kandys" with the awards for the best debut of the professional art.
